We Aint Right is the official name of our tournament Paintball team. Usually it is listed as an acronym W.A.R. We are located in South Louisiana, Baton Rouge area. Our team is starting its 3rd season. In 1997 we were new to the tournament scene. We played a few tournaments at Southern Wildfire in Hammond, La.and decided that we had a lot to learn. In September I(Wayne) took a trip to Saint Louis to watch the NAAPSA finals. I took notes, and decided that if our team was ever going to play at that level, we needed some practice. In 1998 we went through a few changes. We practiced with other area teams, and actually managed to win one tournament. However, overall we were still below where we wanted to be. In 1999 we went through some major changes. In fact there are now only two original members on our team. Last weekend we attended our first tournament of the 1999 season. We managed to make the finals, but fell short of the top 5 by finishing 6th place over all out of 16 teams. Our next tournament will be May 2nd at Crossfire Paintball in Lafayette, Louisiana. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
